Day Trip
Went to the crazy city of Toronto today with May and Trent.
Had two agenda's for the trip. Hit up the zoo IN season, and check out Chuck Gammage Studios!
Both were accomplished and I gotta say Chuck is such a friendly guy. Had a nice little chat with him after our zoo trip and his studio has such a great vibe. Ceiling fans are a must for ANY studio.
Here are some drawings from the zoo that had way to many kids running around.

Making time for personal work...
Just a random sketch.
The 2 hour life drawing pose really got me into thinking about structure and how the body is put together. I learned a lot from that pose, I got tons of pencil memory from it.
I think the sketch below is a good example of the anatomy getting stronger (even though it's just the top half hah)

Retrospective - 2005?
Well I'm still extremely sick... so I thought I'd work on my blog. Thats pretty mindless right?
Anyways, heres a drawing from when I first started college in Pre-Animation. This first one is a farmer I drew on the first day. I'm pretty sure I was trying to copy Steven Silver's style. I really Can't Remember.
And here's the first Rotation I ever did.
... lol
